RE: Public Information Request - Traffic and Noise Studies - Rumiano Cheese Factory application UP26-01
Dear City Manager,
At the August 20, 2026 Planning Commission Meeting consideration of Rumiano Cheese Factory application UP26-01 was continued pending completion of additional traffic and noise studies.
To better understand the process going forward, please provide written responses by email to the following questions regarding those studies:
1. What traffic study or analysis is being required by the City?
2. What is the complete scope of work for the traffic study? Does it include "sidewalks" and/or "roads" as requested by the commission?
3. Who will prepare the traffic study?
4. When is the traffic study expected to begin and be completed?
5. What noise study or analysis is being required by the City?
6. What is the complete scope of work for the noise study? Does it include "sidewalks" and/or "roads" as requested by the commission?
7. Who is preparing the noise study?
8. When is the noise study expected to begin and be completed?
9. Who selected, or will select, the consultants preparing the studies?
10. Who will be responsible for paying for the studies?
11. Will the City independently review the completed studies, and if so, who will perform the review?
12. When will the completed studies and supporting material be made available to the public? Please provide the City's responses and any supporting materials in writing by email only to [email protected] at your earliest convenience. No paper copies are being requested.
Additional supporting materials will likely be requested in the future.
Please include this correspondence, the City's written response, any requested materials, and any subsequently prepared traffic and noise studies and supporting materials in the administrative record for the application.
