CITY OF CUDAHY AS SUCCESSOR AGENCY and
HOUSING SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE CUDAHY
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION JOINT MEETING
July 7, 2023 4:00 P.M.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor / Chair Lomelí called the meeting to order at 4:08 p.m.

ABSENT: Council / Agency Member Cynthia Gonzalez
Vice Mayor / Vice Chair Jose R. Gonzalez
ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk, Richard Iglesias and Community Development Director, Juan Arauz.

4. BUSINESS SESSION
A. Consideration to Approve the 2022 General Plan Annual Progress Report Required by the State of California, Reporting Period January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 Presented by the Community Development Director
Recommendation: Staff is recommending the City Council take the following action(s):
1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-34 (Attachment A) approving the 2022 General Plan Annual Progress Report (APR); and
2. Authorize staff to file the 2022 Annual Progress Report with the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) and the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
Resolution No. 23-34 was read into the record by the Community Development Director.
City Council/Successor Agency Minutes of 7/7/2023 Page 2 of 2 Motion: Council Member Fuentes motioned to adopt Resolution No. 23-34 approving the 2022 General Plan Annual Progress Report and authorize staff to file the 2022 Annual Progress Report with the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research and the California Department of Housing and Community Development, seconded by Council Member Alcantar. Motion passed 3-0-2 by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Fuentes, Alcantar, and Lomelí
NOES: None
ABSENT: C. Gonzalez and J. Gonzalez
ABSTAIN: None
5. ADJOURNMENT
