Dear Property Owner:
I am writing to you to inquire about your interest in developing your property as an “opportunity site” under enhanced development options. Doing so will accommodate some of the City of Culver City’s new planning goals related to housing in the City’s General Plan Update (GPU) process. The City’s General Plan is its primary guide for land use and development and is setting the 25-year vision for the community through 2045. It covers topics ranging from housing to transportation to parks and open space. Learn more about the GPU on the project website at www.PictureCulverCity.com.
The City is researching “opportunity sites” throughout the community that could potentially accommodate housing, among other uses, in order to address the City’s housing needs. Your property has been identified as an opportunity site and if you choose to redevelop your property as an opportunity site, you may be able to do so with flexible development standards, including extra building height, extra density, and relaxed parking requirements, at levels to be determined.
