Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund
Eligible Uses
The California Health and Safety (HSC) defines eligible uses of the Low and Moderate Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Asset Fund (LMIHAF). Health Safety Code regulations restricts the use of the LMIHAF for permanent housing and is otherwise restricted to no more than $1 million expenditures per year for emergency shelter housing in collaboration with Successor Agencies in the region (HSC 34176.1 (C)(2). Therefore, funding non-permanent housing with the LMIHAF is limited. (Please see Attachment No. 6).
