A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN FOR FIRE SAFETY
EMPLOYEES RETROACTIVE TO JULY 1, 2022
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Salary Initiative Ordinance adopted by the electors of the City of Culver City on August 11, 1953 and amended on November 2, 1982, salary adjustments are required for certain safety employees; and, WHEREAS, in accordance with the Salary Initiative Ordinance, as amended, various changes were made to the salaries and benefits paid to fire safety employees retroactive to July 1, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Culver City, DOES RESOLVE as follows:
1. The Classification and Salary Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby adopted retroactive to July 1, 2022.
2. The Classification and Salary Plan attached hereto as Exhibit “A” shall supersede and replace all previously adopted salary plans for fire safety employees. / / /

32 3. The City Manager and Chief Financial Officer are hereby authorized to adjust and pay salaries of the City employees in accordance with the Classification and Salary Plan adopted and approved by this Resolution, retroactive to July 1, 2022.
