A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS
FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
(CALTRANS).
WHEREAS, the City of Culver City (“City”) is eligib le to receive Federal and/or State funding for certain Transportation Projects t hrough the California Department of Transportation (CalTrans); and,
WHEREAS, the City’s application for grant funds f rom CalTrans for the City of Culver for Infrastructure Electrification Project w as accepted and the City was awarded Five Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,400,00.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of C ulver City, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City accepts the grant award from CalTrans ; and
2. The City Council appoints the City Manager, or designee, as agent to conduct all negotiations, and execute and submit al l documents including, but not limited to, application, agreements and payment requests, which may be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned grant awards.
