34 RESOLUTION NO. 2024-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A
SIDEWALK VENDING PERMIT APPLICATION FEE AND
RENEWAL FEE PURSUANT TO CULVER CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 11.18.
WHEREAS, on October 23, 2023 th e City Council of the City of Culver City adopted Ordinance No. 2023-006, codified as Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC) Chapter
11.18, wh ich establishes regulations governing sidewalk vending and requires that sidewalk vendors obtain a permit from the City; and
WHEREAS, CCMC section 11.18.030 specifies that “[e]ach application for a sidewalk vendor permit shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable application fee as established by resolution of the City Council”; and
WHEREAS, on January 22, 2024, at a duly n oticed public meeting, the Ci ty Council considered establishment of sidewalk vendor permit application and renewal fees ; and
WHEREAS, after giving the public an opportunity to be heard and considering all information before it, the City Council approved and adopted the recommended sidewalk vendor permit application and renewal fees set forth herein; and WHEREAS, the fees established herein are based upon the reasonable costs associated with the administration of CCMC Chapter 11.18.
NOW, THEREFORE , the Ci ty Council of the City of Culver City, California, DOES RESOLVE as follows:
