RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CULVER CITY AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SU RPLUS
RADIOS TO THE CITY OF GLENDORA
WHEREAS, in 2015, the City purchased 107 Motorola APX 1000 Two -Way Radios to support various departments, including fire, police, emergency and public works services, which have served as a key communication tool among City departments; and WHEREAS, after 10 years of service, the radios were recently replaced with newer models, and the City of Glendora has expressed interest in purchasing 20 of the used APX 1000 radios for its police department a t a price o f $350.00 per unit, for a total of $7,000.00, and purchasing additional units in the future as funding becomes available; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Culver City Municipal Code Section 3.07.095.B.4, by resolution or ordinance, the City may dispose of surplus property to another government entity by gift, sale, trade, or barter.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Culver City, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, as follows:
1. The City Council authorizes the sale of 20 surplus Motorola APX 1000 Two-Way Radios to the City of Glendora, California at a price of $350 per radio for a total sale amount of $7,000.
2. The City Council further authorizes the future sale of additional surp lus radios to the City of Glendora at the same or better price. / / /

3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
