RESOLUTION NO. 2026-R
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A PENALTY
FOR NONPAYMENT OF BILLING FOR SOLID WASTE
REFUSE COLLECTIONS SERVICES EFFECTIVE JULY 22,
2026.
WHEREAS, Section 5.01.080 .A of the Culver City Municipal Code (CCMC), as amended by the City Council on June 22, 2026, authorizes the City Council to establish, by resolution, a penalty for nonpayment of billing for solid waste refuse collections services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Culver City, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE as follows:
1. Pursuant to CCMC Section 5.01.0 80.A, as amended by the City Council on June 22, 2026, a 10% penalty for nonpayment of billing for solid waste refuse collections services is hereby established.
2. This Resolution shall become effective concurrently with Ordinance No. 2026-____, both of which take effect on July 22, 2026.
