Consider a donation from Marilyn Francesco for a memorial plaque to be placed on a bench in Memorial Park, in memory of Robin Andy.
Recommended Action
Authorize the following regarding a plaque in memory of Robin Andy.
Acceptance of the plaque donation
Wording of the plaque
Installation on a designated bench at Memorial Park
Discussion
Marilyn Francesco has offered to donate a plaque in memory of Robin Andy, with the intent that the plaque be installed on a designated bench in Memorial Park.
The plaque would include the following language.
In Memory of Robin J. Andy
Devoted Mother and Friend
This recommended action is consistent with the Cupertino Donation Policy, Section IX.3, titled “Donor Recognition Guidelines” which states that City Council may recognize a donation of a plaque with wording to be determined on a case-by-case basis (Attachment A.) Sustainability Impact
