Environmental Review
Project is categorically exempt from the requirements
of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
under CEQA Guidelines section 15183 as it is consistent with the development density established by existing
zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for
which an EIR was certified and would not require
additional environmental review, except as might be
necessary to examine whether there are project-
specific significant effects which are peculiar to the
project or its site.
Conclusion
Staff recommends approval since the project and
conditions of approval address all concerns related
to the proposed development and all the findings for
approval of the proposed project, consistent with
Chapters 19.156, 19.168, and 14.18 of the Cupertino
Municipal Code, may be made.
Next Step
City Council’s decision is final subject to
any Petition for Reconsideration that is
filed within 10 days of the decision.
