2023‐04‐11 Monta Vista High School Speech Banquet
‐ Amazing speech which helped many previously shy students to develop courage to speak.
Ms. Wang at Kennedy Middle School stared the program. Graduating seniors thanking teachers, coaches and parents. The parent leaders of the Boosters thanking departing parents.
2023‐04‐12 Santa Clara County Library JPA Finance Committee ‐ Attended in person. Approved budget recommendation for the Library JPA. 2023‐04‐13 Luncheon to welcome County Sheriff Bon Johnson ‐ Hosted by Vicky Ma. Attended by many leaders of Chinese nonprofits 2023‐04‐23 Cal Cities Taxation and Revenue Policy Committee – CDTFA briefing ‐ A joint meeting with the Cal Cities City Managers’ Working Group on sales tax reform. ‐ This Working Group, consisting of city managers and city councilmembers, has been working on potential bills for a few years and they have proposed bills to restrict sales tax share agreements, but they did not pass. 2023‐04‐21 Moving Forward Together event by Common Sense Party 2023‐04‐22 Cupertino Earth Day
‐ Stopped by shortly to visit at 1:30pm. Wonderful bike valet and library book mobile. Very well attended.
