Event 1: June 28, 2023; West Valley Mayor & City Manager Monthly Meeting
Met with West Valley Cities Mayors and City Managers (Cupertino, Campbell, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga) with a presentation from VTA.
Event 2: June 29, 2923; Taram Wireless Next Generation Fixed Wireless Access (ngFWA) Technologies hosted by
Carl Guardino
Toured the Taram Wireless Next Generation Fixed Wireless Access Technologies with Innovation Technology Manager Tommy Yu for a demo of the technology which could provide wireless access to areas with broadband access challenges.

Interviewed by a Scout with topics on
City Governance, Land Use, Public Safety, and
Transportation issues.
Event 4: July 1, 2023; Resident Concerns
Met with a resident regarding neighborhood safety and code enforcement issues.
Event 5: July 4, 2023; Cupertino 4
th of July activities
Attended 4th of July Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Optimist Club at Cupertino Quinlan Center, with Assemblymember Evan Low serving breakfast from 7:30am to 8:30am
Attended the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial in Memorial Park then paraded through the Park to the Amphitheater where a 10:30am Concert was open to the public
Event 6: July 5. 2023; Meeting with Mayor and delegates from Korea
Met with Mayor and delegates from the Kwanak District of Seoul, Korea, with City Manager Pamela Wu and Board Chair of Fremont Union High School District Rosa Kim, to exchange information on Kwanak District and Cupertino,
and to explore Friendship City opportunity.
Event 7: July 7, 2023; Meeting with Fremont Union High School District Board Chair Rosa Kim, Principal of Silicon Valley Korean School, and a Board Member of Silicon Valley Korean School
Met with FUHSD Board Chair Rosa Kim, Principal of Silicon Valley Korean School, and a
Board Member of Silicon Valley Korean School, and Vice Mayor Mohan to explore collaborative opportunities to engage the Korean American Community
Event 8: July 8, 2023; Meeting with Cupertino‐Hsinchu Sister City Association Board Member to plan for Hsinchu Mayoral Visit in October
Meeting with Cupertino‐Hsinchu
Sister Cities Association Board Member to explore activities to host Hsinchu Mayor and her delegates who will visit the Bay Area from 10/15/2023 to 10/20/2023.
Event 9: July 10, 2023; Cal Cities Association Peninsula Division Monthly Executive Board Meeting
Attended the July Executive Board Meeting of the Cal Cities Peninsula Division and discussed
future events hosted by the Peninsula Division including the October 6 Mental Health Forum, the Breakfast/Board Installation at the Cal Cities September Conference.
