2023-06-01 Cupertino Pride Month Flag Raising (2023 video, 2022 video, 2021 video, 2019 video) - Cupertino have been hosting the Pride Month Flag Raising ceremony since 2019. I have aended each ceremony, except in 2020, when a virtual flag raising ceremony was held. 2023-06-10 visited Wilson Park Community Garden and the new outdoor basketball field - I was not able to aend the opening ceremony on Friday morning the day before. So, I visited the garden the next day. I was invited with former Mayor Darcy Paul, former Councilmember Jon Willey and former Councilmember Steven Scharf to celebrate together since we approved this project back in 2020. - After reducing the scope of the McClellan Ranch Community to cut the cost, the 2020 Council voted to create the satellite Community Gardens in other parks so the wider community can benefit from garden beds in neighborhood parks. - Click here to submit applications for garden beds.
