Event Date, Title, and Description:
Event 1. October 3, 2023 – Budget and City Hall Briefing – I received a background briefing from staff on the Budget and on the City Hall project. The Budget item was scheduled to be heard at the October 10, 2023, council meeting and the City Hall project update at the October 17, 2023 meeting.
Event 2. October 7, 2023 – Meeting with Cupertino chapter of Silicon Valley Youth Climate Action – I was honored to be the guest of the Cupertino SVYCA at their October meeting. They asked numerous insightful questions about Cupertino’s Climate Action Plan 2.0 implementation and youth
engagement. I’m always impressed with how bright and active our young residents are and how much they care about the future of the community and the planet. I look forward to my next chance to work with them.
