Attended the annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony, marking the start of the holiday season with holiday singing
by Homestead High School Choir and Santa visiting on a fire engine.

Attended, as Mayor of Cupertino and Rotary District 5170 Governor, the Holiday Get‐Together by Ainak, a Silicon Valley non‐profit organization focused on helping under‐resourced school
children with free eye care services such as vision tests and prescription eyeglasses.

Hosted the December 2023 Morning Chat w/Mayor at Cupertino Holder’s Country Inn with Cupertino City Director of Community Development Ben Fu present. Discussion included issues/questions ranging from Vallco/the Rise update, Pickleball courts at De Anza College, City Hall issues, support of small‐ medium businesses, what/why there is a “generator” in the City
Hall parking lot, Silicon Valley Hopper for senior services.

Attended the annual Celebrating New Year Day at TECO hosted by the Double Ten Celebration Committee with Color Guard,
Drumming, Dragon Dance, singing and various performances.
Presented a Certificate of Appreciation from Cupertino with Vice Mayor JR Fruen.
