Adoption of Ordinance No. 24-2256, to regularize commissioner appointments and revise commissioner qualifications Recommended Action
Conduct the second reading of and adopt Ordinance No. 24-2256, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO TO REGULARIZE CITY COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE TERMS AND REVISE COMMISSIONER QUALIFICATIONS” Reasons for Recommendation
On March 5, 2024, the City introduced Ordinance No. 24-2256, which amends Title 2 of the Municipal Code to regularize the schedule for appointments to advisory bodies and qualifications for service on the Housing and Sustainability Commissions.
The proposed Municipal Code changes with Council modifications are reflected in the draft ordinance in Attachment A. If adopted, the Ordinance will become effective 30 days following the second reading.
