SPECIAL MEETING
At 5:34 p.m., Mayor Sheila Mohan called the Special City Council Meeting to order in the Cupertino Community Hall Council Chamber, 10350 Torre Avenue.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Sheila Mohan, Vice Mayor J.R. Fruen, and Councilmembers Liang Chao and Kitty Moore. Absent: Hung Wei.
COMMISSION INTERVIEWS
1. Subject: Teen Commission Interviews
Recommended Action: Conduct Teen Commission interviews and make appointments for four vacancies
Written Communications for this item included an amended Attachment A – Interview Schedule.
Mayor Mohan opened the public comment period and, seeing no one, closed the public comment period.
Council conducted interviews to fill four vacancies for terms expiring on the Teen Commission.
Councilmembers asked questions and made comments.
At 6:35 p.m., Mayor Mohan recessed the meeting. The meeting reconvened at 6:40 p.m. with all Councilmembers present (Wei absent).
Council continued interviewing applicants.
At 7:23 p.m., Mayor Mohan recessed the meeting. The meeting reconvened at 7:39 p.m. with all Councilmembers present (Wei absent).

Council continued interviewing applicants.
At 8:06 p.m., Council consented to interview A pplicant No. 48 Sana Buty on June 26 instead of June 27.
Fruen moved and Moore seconded to make appointments for terms expiring on the Teen Commission after conducting the commission interviews scheduled on June 27. The motion carried with the following vote: Ayes: Mohan, Fruen, Chao, and Moore. Noes:
None. Abstain: None. Absent: Wei.
ADJOURNMENT
At 8:35 p.m., Mayor Mohan adjourned the Special City Council Meeting.
