Attended the Silicon Valley Clean Energy Staff Retreat and spoke about the important work SVCE has done in the past and moving forward.
Event 3. Thursday June 13, 2024 @ 6:30pm, Cities Association of Santa Clara County Membership Meeting @ Los Altos Community Center
Attended the Cities Association Membership Meeting
with a focus on Mental Health as
well as Celebrating the formation of JPA. This event featured a panel of mental health professionals and was sponsored by El Camino Health.

Attended a Staff Prep Session, received
briefing on Community Cevelopment projects

City Council Councilmember Report
2 Anniversary Celebration
Attended the 60
th Anniversary of Sunny View Retirement Community with Mayor Sheila Mohan. Sunny View has served the Cupertino community for 60 years of excellent service for seniors with both independent & assistant living needs as well as memory care facilities.

Attended Congressman Ro Khanna’s Town Hall featuring an Education Forum with Foothill De‐Anza Board Member Patrick Ahrens with Q&A from the audience.
Event 7. Thursday June 20, 2024 @ 1:45pm, Students Visit from Cupertino Friendship City New
Taipei City
Welcomed students and accompanying adults from New Taipei City, one of Cupertino’s Friendship Cities in Taiwan, for a tour of the City Hall and Cupertino Library. City staff made a presentation of the City of Cupertino and I acted as an interpreter for better communication.

Event 8. Saturday June 22, 2024 @ 11:00am, Cupertino Amateur Radio Emergency Service (CARES) Field Day at Memorial Park
Attended, along with Mayor Sheila Mohan, the annual Field Day of Cupertino Amateur Radio Emergency Service at Memorial Park. Our residents who volunteer for CARES are knowledgeable
and passionate about serving when an emergency arises and will coordinate with City staff as well as Sheriff, Fire, County and neighboring agencies to serve our residents. Mayor Mohan and I received briefing on the equipment and procedures from our volunteers.
Event 9. Saturday June 22, 2024 @ 3:00pm, Eagle Court of Honor by Scout Troop 2466 @ the Fellowship Hall @ the Presbyterian Church Sunnyvale
Attended, along with Mayor Sheila Mohan, the Eagle Court of Honor to congratulate three female Eagle Scout recipients who were the very first female Eagle Scout awardees received by Scout Troop 2466!
