CUPERTINO CITY COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING
At 12:18 p.m., Mayor Liang Chao called the Special City Council Meeting to order in City Hall Conference Room C, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, CA 95014.
ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Liang Chao, Vice Mayor Kitty Moore, and Councilmembers J.R. Fruen, Sheila Mohan, and R “Ray” Wang. Absent: None.
In open session prior to closed session, Mayor Chao opened the public comment period regarding the items on the agenda. The following members of the public requested to speak.

Mayor Chao closed the public comment period.
CLOSED SESSION
1. Subject: Public employee performance evaluation/discipline; Title: City Manager; California Government Code Sections 54954.5(e) and 54957(b).
Council conducted the closed session regarding the performance evaluation/discipline for the City Manager.
OPEN SESSION REPORT REGARDING CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Floy Andrews conducted the open session report regarding the closed session. City Attorney Andrews reported that City Manager Pamela Wu was on placed on paid administrative leave. Those voting against the vote were Councilmembers Fruen and Mohan and those voting in favor of the vote were Mayor Chao, Vice Mayor Moore, and Councilmember Wang.
ADJOURNMENT
At 1:38 p.m., Mayor Chao adjourned the Special City Council Meeting.
