SPECIAL MEETING
At 5:44 p.m. Vice Mayor Kitty Moore called the Special City Council Meeting to order in City Hall Conference Room C, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, CA 95014 and via Teleconference Location Pursuant to Government Code section 54953(b)(2) The Wynn Hotel, Tower Suites Lobby, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
ROLL CALL
Present: Vice Mayor Kitty Moore, and Councilmembers J.R. Fruen, Sheila Mohan, and R “Ray” Wang (participated remotely). Absent: Mayor Liang Chao.
In open session prior to closed session, Vice Mayor Moore opened the public comment period regarding any items on the agenda. No members of the public requested to speak and Vice Mayor Moore closed the public comment period.
CLOSED SESSION
1. Subject: Conference with legal counsel - anticipated litigation; California Government Code Sections 54954(c) and 54956.9(e)(1): (1 case)
The Council unanimously consented to continue this item to a future date (Chao absent).
OPEN SESSION REPORT REGARDING CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Floy Andrews conducted the open session report regarding the closed session.
City Attorney Andrews reported that the City Council continued the agenda item, as Mayor Chao was unable to attend due to a car accident, and the meeting will be rescheduled.
ADJOURNMENT
At 5:48 p.m., Vice Mayor Moore adjourned the Special City Council Meeting.
