5/14/25: Met with City residents who had questions about relationship between City and De Anza College and roles and responsibilities of each entity
5/17/25: Attended the Silicon Valley Korean School Annual Field Day at Cupertino High School. It was an opportunity for young people of Korean heritage to showcase their talents and knowledge of Korean culture and language. Several elected officials from Sacramento and neighboring cities attended this event.
5/21/25: In my capacity as a board member of the Santa Clara County Library District, I attended the Finance Committee meeting. Staff from the Library District presented a draft of the FY 25-26 budget. While the district is in a financially stable situation, uncertainties remain about federal and state funding sources. The importance of maintaining healthy reserves as a buffer was emphasized.
