Event 1. October 8, 2025 – Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) Board Meeting– I participated in the SVCE Board meeting in my capacity as Cupertino’s representative on this JPA’s Board of Directors. Meeting materials are available on the SVCE website here.
Event 2. October 8-10, 2025 – California League of Cities Conference and Expo – I attended this annual conference of the League of Cities. As with prior conferences, this year’s was full of useful information on issues facing cities and how cities are confronting those issues. As usual, it also afforded a helpful opportunity to meet and network with other elected and staff-level officials in other cities. Event 3. October 11, 2025 – Bay Area Diwali Festival – Together with the entire city council and various other local and state-level officials, I took part in the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce’s annual Diwali Festival. Though the festival was smaller this year than in years past, it was well-attended and event-goers appeared to be greatly enjoying themselves.
