10/28/25 Participated in the Chai and Chat panel discussion organized by the India Currents publication. The panel consisted of Pranita Venkatesh, Vice Mayor of San Carlos , Nicole Fernandez, San Mateo City councilmember and Assemblymember Ash Kalra. The discussion centered around local issues, civic engagement, lessons learned, and vision for the future of our cities.
10/29/25 The City hosted the annual CREST awards at Quinlan Center. Kudos to staff for the time and effort put into organizing the event, rehearsing with Council and ensuring that commissioners and award winners were suitably honored.
10/30/25 In my capacity as director, I attended the board meeting of the Santa Clara County Library District. An extension to the Los Altos library was discussed, and staff made a presentation on the process and its progress.
10/30/25 Attended a luncheon for women elected officials (current and former) at which the impending November 4 election issues were discussed. These included Measure 50 (redistricting), Measure A(sales tax) and election of the County Assessor.
11/5/25 Attended a meeting with the Vice Mayor of Los Altos Hills, Rajeev Bhateja who had questions about public safety in our City and Sheriff’s contract details. Their city is supplementing the Sherriff’s services with private security.
11/9/25 Met with a group of residents from the . I heard their concerns,

2 primarily parking, traffic and safety, informed them about the traffic study under way, and opportunities to provide feedback upon completion of the study.
