Event 1. January 13 – City Hall Facilities Tour – Together with Councilmember Mohan and Planning Commissioner Lindskog, I received a tour of City Hall and its various facilities within the building to better understand current operational limitations created by the building and issues related to overall state of the building and its maintenance.
Event 2. January 14, 2026 – Silicon Valley Clean Energy Board Meeting – I attended this regular meeting of the SVCE JPA Board in my capacity as the alternate appointee of the City Council, filling in for Councilmember Wang. Event 3. January 20, 2026 – Staff Briefing on Two Development Projects – I received a briefing from city staff (CDD) covering two adjacent townhome project development applications on Stevens Creek Boulevard near Blaney Avenue.
Event 4. January 22, 2026 – Santa Clara County Cities Association Legislative Action Committee (LAC) & Board Meeting – I attended this pair of meetings of the Cities Association in my capacity as Vice-President of the organization and address the LAC at the invitation of the Chair. Event 5. January 26, 2026 – Court hearing – Tang et al. v. City of Cupertino – I attended the merits hearing in Santa Clara County Superior Court where Judge Williams heard argument in the litigation over the Scofield Drive builder’s remedy project application. Per Judge’s comments from the dais, an order in a related case involving the same question of law for a project in the Town of Los Gatos is expected to publish this week (by the end of January).

2 Event 6. January 26, 2026 – Meeting with the City Manager – I met with City Manager Tina Kapoor to go over upcoming council agenda items, items of interest, and issues raised by residents.
