I presented a commendation to him on behalf of the City, and made a few remarks about the efforts the Consul General’s office has undertaken to reach out to the Indo-American community in the Bay Area.
9/12/26 Along with Mayor Moore and several elected officials from other Bay Area cities, County of Santa Clara, and school and college districts, I attended the Silicon Valley Fall Festival organized by the Rotary Club of Cupertino. The City had over 10 booths promoting safety and wellness programs. The day was filled with entertainment including music and dance performances from community non-profit groups. The vast number of vendor booths confirmed the importance and the value that the Rotary has established in our community.
