CITY OF DANA POINT | NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 6, 2026, the City Council of the City of Dana Point will conduct a public hearing to hold a first reading of an Ordinance entitled:
AMENDMENT TO THE DANA POINT MUNICIPAL CODE TO AMEND SECTIONS RELATING TO APPEAL PROCEDURES: 2.04 APPEALS TO COUNCIL,1.10 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATIONS, 2.50 JUDICIAL REVIEW, ADMINISTRATIVE MANDAMUS, STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS, 3.25 TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY TAX, 5.02 REGULATION OF STREET VENDING ACTIVITIES, 5.03 REGULATION OF SIDEWALK VENDORS, 5.20 MASSAGE REGULATIONS, 5.30 CABLE COMMUNICATIONS FRANCHISES, 5.32 ADULT-ORIENTED BUSINESSES, 5.36 CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OTHER VIDEO-RELATED MATTERS, 6.10 SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AND ORGANIC WASTE DIVERSION, 6.12 CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS, 6.14 NUISANCES, GENERAL, 6.15 LANDSCAPE AND MAINTENANCE OF VACANT PROPERTY IN COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS, 7.05 TENTATIVE MAPS – PROCEDURES, 7.24 FINAL MAPS – REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES, 7.30 CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE, 7.32 LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS, 8.01 GRADING AND EXCAVATION CONTROL, 8.10 RELOCATED BUILDINGS CODE, 8.18 UNIFORM SWIMMING POOL, SPA AND HOT TUB CODE, 8.40 REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION Copies of the subject Codes and amendments are available for review in the City Building Official’s Office.

Any petition for judicial review of a decision of the Dana Point City Council, is controlled by the statute of limitations provisions set forth in sections 2.50.010 and 2.50.020 of the Dana Point Municipal Code and Sections 1094.5 and 1094.6 of the California Code of Civil Procedure. Any action or proceeding to attack, review, set aside, or void and decision of the Dana Point City Council is controlled by Section 2.50.010 and Section 2.50.020 of the Dana Point Municipal Code.
