SUBJECT: Preparation for the 45th Annual Mayor’s Installation and Community Service Awards
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, in the Village Theatre.
Preparation includes Town Council discussion at each of the upcoming Study Sessions, prior to the event.
September 8: Review draft event agenda; solicit nominations October 13: Select three recommendations for the Michael K. Shimansky Community Service Award
November 10: Select award recipients; confirm presenters; finalize agenda; determine protocol for future presentation to absent award recipients (e.g., mail, deliver, present at public meeting; by new or previous liaison; timing)
December 8: Event
