Special Meeting of October 1, 2024
The City Council of the City of Davis met in special meeting session beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Community Chambers Conference Room , 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, California. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Chapman.

Councilmembers Absent: None

City Council convened a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54954.5 to discuss the following:
A. Conference with Legal Counsel: Existing Litigation : Pitts v. City of Davis, et al., Yolo County Superior Court, Case No. CV -2022- 0119.
B. Conference with Legal Counsel: Anticipated Litigation:
1. Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) (1 case): Written threat by Legal Aid at Work and California Women’s Law Center
2. Initiation of litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of sub division (d) of Section 54956.9 (1 case)
