Special Meeting of February 25, 2025
The City Council of the City of Davis met in special meeting session beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the Community Chambers Conference Room , 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, California. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Vaitla.
Roll Call: Councilmembers Present: Josh Chapman, Linda Deos, Donna Neville, Gloria Partida, Bapu Vaitla
Councilmembers Absent: None

By consensus, City Council approved the agenda.

Alan Hirsch: City Manager recruitment process should take community input into account.
Closed
Session
City Council convened a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54957 to discuss the following:
1. Public Employee Performance Evaluation: Title: City Manager
2. Public Employment: Title: City Manager
By consensus, City Council approved the following:
1. Appoint Kelly Stachowicz as Interim City Manager effective March 31, 2025.
2. Direct staff to initiate a recruitment process utilizing a professional consultant firm.
3. Form a Council Subcommittee (Gloria Partida, Donna Neville) for the city manager transition process and initial recruitment efforts.
