Special Meeting of October 21, 2025
The City Council of the City of Davis met in special meeting session beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Community Chambers Conference Room , 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, California. The meeting was called to order by Vice Mayor Neville.
Roll Call: Councilmembers Present: Josh Chapman, Linda Deos, Donna Neville, Gloria Partida, Bapu Vaitla (arrived 6:00 p.m.)
Councilmembers Absent: None
Other Officers Present: City Manager Daryel Dunston , City Attorney Inder Khalsa

City Council convened a closed session pursuant to Government Code §54954.5 to discuss the following:
A. Threat to Public Services or Facilities. Consultation with City of Davis Police Chief and Deputy Chief.
B. Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation. Initiation of litigation pursuant to §54956.9(d)(4): (1 potential case)
