MINUTES OF THE DAVIS CITY COUNCIL
Meeting of January 20, 2026
The City Council of the City of Davis met in special meeting session beginning at 6:04 p.m. in the Community Chambers, 23 Russell Boulevard, Davis, California. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Donna Neville.
Councilmembers Present: Josh Chapman, Linda Deos, Gloria Partida, Bapu Vaitla, Donna Neville
Councilmembers Absent: None
Other Officers Present: City Manager Daryel Dunston, City Attorney Inder Khalsa, City Clerk Zoe Mirabile
1. Approval of Agenda. Deos moved, seconded by J. Chapman, to approve the agenda.
Motion passed unanimously.
2. Ceremonial Presentation. Proclamation Recognizing Saint James Catholic Church on Its 150th Year Anniversary, presented by G. Partida
City Council recessed at 6:09 p.m. and reconvened at 6:11 p.m.
3. Public Comments. None.
4. Consent Calendar
Approval to Continue with Construction Contract with Eaton Drilling for Emergency Cleaning and Rehabilitation of Potable Water Well #33
Reaffirm that due to the necessity of ensuring potable water wells are available for use, there is not time to allow the utilization of public bidding, and the emergency cleaning and rehabilitation of potable water Well #33 can continue with Eaton Drilling.
L. Deos moved, seconed by J. Chapman, to approve the consent calendar. Motion passed unanimously.
