CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Alindajao called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 1015 – 11th Avenue.

Pastor Gabe Diaz offered the invocation.

ROLL CALL
Council members present: Mayor Joe Alindajao, Mayor Pro Tem Salvador Solorio-Ruiz, Mario Nunez, Jr.
Council members absent: Liz Morris, Veronica Vasquez

City Engineer Dowling, City Clerk Garcia, Finance Director Lara Rios, Human Resources Director Zamudio, Commander Velasco, Interim Attorney Hensley
SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION
1) Public Employee Appointment, Interim City Attorney; Govt. Code Section 54957 Motion was to return to general session at 5:40PM made by: Nunez 2nd by: Solorio- Ruiz
Vote: 3-0
Ayes: Solorio-Ruiz/Nunez/Alindajao
Nays: None
Absent: Vasquez/Morris
Abstentions: None
Public comment opened.
1. Yolanda Vega – “I have a question. How are you doing a special meeting prior to a consent agenda item that hasn't even been approved? Where is, I mean on the special agenda it's talking about hiring an interim attorney and consent item number 10 hasn't been approved, which is also the same thing. And where is our city attorney? Why are you hiring another attorney? Where's the transparency here?” Public comment closed.
Reportable action presented by Alindajao: The council has terminated City Attorney Richman and hired an interim attorney by a vote of 3-0. Mark Hensley from Hensly Law Group will serve as an Interim.
ADJOURNMENT
Moved by Nunez seconded by Solorio-Ruiz and unanimously carried 3-0 to adjourn the meeting at 5: 44 p.m. _____________________________________________
