1. Roberto Ibarra – “Hello, good evening. Robert Ibarra, Delano citizen. I'll insist on the sidewalks.
I mentioned the last meeting, the sidewalk, I believe it's needed because I seen you making sidewalks by Albany and Cecil going north. It's a good stretch of dirt. And I'm on my bike and it could be a good way to rezone in that place if you can take that. And my other thing is that I was talking to one of the city workers here, that do you have any plans on restructuring your parks? Making it more accessible, more with benches in a way in which they said, I don't know if you've seen in Mexico how they make the parks where it's a square people with benches, people walk.
And in the corners or in the corners and in between the corners, there's alleys that people walk.
And in that space, there's trees, trees. And in the circle, they make, I don't know if it's the right word, kiosk, where people play music, entertainment on the weekends. So, I don't know if you can have that as an idea. So, make people more easy to go to a park instead of just laying on the park where sunny grass oversees grass and muddy grass because the rupture lines and makes muddy grass. People can't lay there too much. And there is nothing much to do really because people just eat and go their way and leave their trash or whatever. Sometimes they clean. But there's basically no entertainment, nothing that Our youth can really practice some music. I remembered in South Dakota, people from, what is it? From Polish people, they polka on the weekends and it was beautiful. People listen to music. They will listen to entertainment. So, think about it.”
2. Fernando Bravo – “All right. Good evening, Mayor, City Council. Name is Fernando Bravo, 1417 Belmont Street. It's just a reminder next month is September and it's going to be a fair day for the seniors. And I just would like to recognize, remind the city council if you guys would sponsor us transportation for that event. So that's it. Thank you.”

COUNCIL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS
Council Member Bryan Osorio – “Yeah, just a couple. So good evening everyone. A little out of breath running here. But first, about a week or so ago, I was at a food distribution with Vice Mayor Nunez. I appreciated him helping out with this additional one that we have to already ongoing programming. It was great to see youth volunteers both from high school to the college level. It was also great to see Ms.
Claribel Gutierrez helping get volunteers for that. On another note, with the election filing period closed, whoever is tuning in or listening, just want to welcome the candidates running at different local levels, whether for city council, the different school boards. I think it's always an introspective period for us to learn from one another and also see why we can contribute to our community. And lastly, I do want to ask in a meeting, maybe in October, for us to have a departmental report on any street safety projects that are planned for the upcoming year as a way for us to be able to also notify the community of what's going on.
And I see that in light of the Garces Project for those who have driven by there, you see that we now have some sidewalks built into the road, and that's always encouraging to see for our community to have more access. But that's it for me, Mayor.”
Council Member Alindajao – None.
Council Member Morris – Absent.
Mayor Pro-Tem Nunez – None.
Mayor Solorio-Ruiz – “Okay. I have a few, so bear with me. My bad. So, I just want to give a special thanks to our law enforcement, our police officers. I did a ride-along a couple weeks ago with Sergeant Santaella, and of course I also had a chance to speak with our commander. And so just thank you for the efforts on that. I also want to note the video that got 1,406 likes and 34,000 views, which of course is a little bit compared to what the police department has received, but thank you to the Chief for his efforts on creating a fun video with The Little Boba Shop. I also attended the South San Joaquin Valley Division meeting, representative Delano. I also attended the Young Elected Officials Network Convening. It was a great opportunity to meet with other young elected officials, including the former Vice President Kamala Harris. It was an amazing time. I also yesterday visited Pastor JC and Christina's church, Be That Church. Amazing what they're doing there and just want to give them thanks on record for allowing me to come in. Other than that, Councilmember, do you have any closing?” Motion to go into closed session at 5:25PM by: Nunez
