Apologizes for the delay of the email.
We would like to submit a public comment regarding tree maintenance.
It comes to our attention that multiple diamond bar families (Including ourselves) are experiencing the same tree maintenance issue.
Resident reflects the issue on "seeclickfix" app, and City will send an inspector to investigate further, and after 2 months, the response from the investigator is generally summarized "no further action needed". However, using my personal experience as an example, the Pinetree right outside of our house is much bigger compared to our neighbors and dropping a lot of pine needles on a regular basis. It has become a huge burden to us.
Rather than completely relying on investigator's report, can we please listen to local family's opinion? The tree may not be a significant risk to safety of the house itself, but it certainly has caused heath concerns and inconvenience to the families.
As part of the Diamond Bar community, we would really appreciate it if the City can have someone trim down/remove the pine tree.

1. Briefly describe the purpose of these checks.
2. Is there a bidding process for these vendors? (e.g. picking the most reasonable vendor out of 3 vendors) The purpose of this question is to ensure that City is paying industrial average price for these services.
