This year marks the 80th Annual American Red Cross Month celebration, a national tradition that began in 1943 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt requested that “during this Month of March our people rededicate themselves to the splendid aims and activities of the Red Cross.” Since then, March has been proclaimed American Red Cross month across the country.
