TITLE: CANCELLATION OF JULY 4, 2023 CITY COUNCIL MEETING

RECOMMENDATION:
Adjourn the June 20, 2023 City Council meeting to July 18, 2023.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This year, the 4th of July holiday falls on a regularly scheduled City Council meeting night. It would be appropriate to cancel the meeting since City Hall will be closed in observance of the holiday. There will be no pressing matters or public hearings scheduled and therefore adjourning the meeting will not cause the City any hardship.
Should the City Council concur, it is recommended that the Mayor, at the end of the June 20, 2023 City Council Meeting, adjourn said Council meeting to July 18, 2023.
