TITLE: CANCELLATION OF SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 CITY COUNCIL MEETING.

RECOMMENDATION:
Adjourn the August 20, 2024 City Council meeting to September 17, 2024.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
BACKGROUND:
This year, the Labor Day holiday falls on Monday, September 2, 2024. It would be appropriate to cancel the September 3, 2024 meeting as there will be no pressing matters or public hearings scheduled and therefore adjourning the meeting will not cause the City any hardship.
Should the City Council concur, it is recommended that the Mayor, at the end of the August 20, 2024 City Council Meeting, adjourn said Council meeting to September 17, 2024.
