RECOMMENDATION:
Council to review and adopt three-year strategic goals 2025-2028.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council adopted three-year strategic goals in 2023. The Council will review and revise the goals for the next three-year period as needed.
OUTSTANDING ISSUES:
None.
DISCUSSION:
The City Council held a strategic goal setting workshop facilitated by Dr. Jacqueline "Jackie" Ryle on March 10, 2023 to review, modify and add to existing goals. The Council received a status on the goals and decided to reaffirm all existing goals.
These goals cover six primary areas, as follows:
Goal #1: Fiscal Health of the Community
Goal #2: Quality of Life and Neighborhood Improvements
Goal #3: Capital Projects and Delivery
Goal #4: Maintaining Organizational Capacity
Goal #5: Community Engagement
Goal #6: Economic Development
As part of the workshop, the Council may wish to revise these goals by adding or deleting for the next three-year period (2025-2028).
