Business of the Audience: Rennie Cleland spoke regarding RV Park, City needs to check on purchasing it .
1. Approval of Agenda: Ms. Murray made a motion to approve the Agenda. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
2. Notice of Resignation: Michael Craddock and Richard Anderson: Mr. Baldwin made a motion of Notice of Resignation: Michael Craddock and Richard Anderson. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
3.Closed Session - Employee appointment, evaluation, dismissal pursuant to (Gov. Code 54957), City Staff:6:14 pm closed, nothing to report
4.Closed Session- Meeting with negotiator regarding authority for the price terms and payment for the purchase of land (Gov. Code 54956.8) Property located at 225 N. Juniper Street: Listing it for sale 225 N. Juniper St. opened back up at 6:40 pm.
5.Butte Valley Dream Builders Group, Rennie Cleland – seeking permission of the Westside Park on October 1: Mrs. Wallace made a motion to approve Valley Dream Builders Group, Rennie Cleland – permission of the Westside Park on October 1. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
6.Resolution 22-24: The City Council of the City of Dorris, California, to Comply With California Election Code 10229 For The Appointment on September 6th, 2022 Of Council Members In Lieu Of November Election: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve Resolution 22-24: The City Council of the City of Dorris, California, to Comply With California Election Code 10229 For The Appointment on September 6th, 2022 Of Council Members In Lieu Of November Election to Donald Clontz. Ms. Murray seconded.
Motion was passed unanimously.
7. Sheriff’s Report: None
8. First addendum to the MOU and Agreement to Provide Law Enforcement Services with Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office and City of Dorris: Ms. Murray made a motion to table. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
9. Approval Right of Use Agreement with Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency (WIC): Mr.
Baldwin made a motion to approve Approval Right of Use Agreement with Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency (WIC): a two year contract at $100.00 a month. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
10. Approval of an Agreement between the County Of Siskiyou and the City Of Dorris for Joint Participation in the Permanent Local Housing Allocation Funding Program for Fiscal Years 2020-2025, and to Designate the County Of Siskiyou as the Administering Local Government for the Program:
11. Repayment of Funds to the State Water Resources Control Board: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve Repayment of Funds to the State Water Resources Control Board. Mrs. Wallace seconded.
Motion was passed unanimously.
12. Delinquent Property Tax Notice for 225 North Juniper Street $6,591.61: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve payment of Delinquent Property Tax Notice for 225 North Juniper Street $6,591.61. Ms.
Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
13. Admin & Staff- Council Reports:
a. Letter of Intent: now accepting for a two-year council position. b. Posting for Office Clerk/City Clerk position 32 hours per week c. Splash Pad Grand Opening: September 17th 11:00 to 1:00 pm d. Christmas Festival Discussion
Consent Agenda – Mr. Baldwin made a motion to combine A&B and to approve. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
