REGULAR MEETING AT CITY HALL

Swearing in new Council Member: Stann Cortez
City Clerk Betty Sammis swore in Mr. Stann Cortez to City Council Business of the Audience: Mr. Salamone had a complaint regarding the smell of the water, he would like the latest water report. Mr. Cleland spoke regarding the Fall October Fest it was a great success. Mr. Cleland wanted to thank Public Works for all the hard work they put into the park;. Mr. Cleland also spoke regarding the Sale of the RV Park.
1. Approval of Agenda: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve the Agenda. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
2.Closed Session - Employee appointment, evaluation, dismissal pursuant to (Gov. Code 54957), City Staff:
closed at 6:10pm opened back at 6:43 pm. Nothing to report.
3. Sheriff’s Report: None
4. Siskiyou County Economic Development Update presentation: Mr. Quintin Gaddy gave a presentation.
5. Admin & Staff- Council Reports
a. Office Clerk/City Clerk position
b. Scheduling work sessions with Sheriff LaRue
c. Christmas Festival Discussion Barbara Murray is head of Christmas Festival Dec. 4th– 11th Consent Agenda – Ms. Murray made a motion to combine A&B and to approve. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
