DORRIS CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING AT CITY HALL
MONDAY OCTOBER 17, 2022 AT 6:00pm

Roll Call: Rob Baldwin, Don Clontz, Barbara Murray, Dawn Wallace

Business of the Audience: None
1. Approval of Agenda: Ms. Murray made a motion to approve the Agenda. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
2. Kathy Derby: Kathy Derby with Goosenest Ranger District looking for volunteers.
3. Proclamation Signing for 15"' Annual Read Across Siskiyou - First 5 Siskiyou Children and Families Commission: Mrs. Wallace made a motion to approve Proclamation Signing for 15'" Annual Read Across Siskiyou - First 5 Siskiyou Children and Families Commission. Ms. Murray seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
4. Sheriff's Report: Sgt. Pannell was present. Gave stats for Sept.
S. Fire Department Report: Fire Chief Vito Andreatta was not present, sent information to Ms. High on phone, Fire Dept. looking for volunteers.
6. Public Works Report: Joe Leonard was present, went over what Public Works has been doing.
7. City of Dorris Employee Handbook: Will turn in to Council after City Attorney looks it over.
8. Closed Session - Employee appointment, evaluation, dismissal pursuant to (Gov. Code 54957), Office Assistant/City Clerk, Code Enforcement officer, and City Administrator: Closed at 6:39 pm. Been approved to make offer for the two positions. Opened back up at 8:05 pm.

d. GSRMA Training: Ms. High will attend the GSRMS training e. Scheduling work sessions with Sheriff LaRue: Ms. Murray and Mrs. Wallace to meet with Sheriff LaRue
f. Christmas Festival Discussion - December 4**-11 th
Consent Agenda - Mr. Baldwin made a motion to combine A&B and approve. Ms. Murray seconded.
Motion was passed unanimously.
