DORRIS CITY COUNCIL MINUTES
REGULAR MEETING AT CITY HALL
MONDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2022 AT 6:00pm

Roll Call: Rob Baldwin, Stann Cortez, Don Clontz, Dawn Wallace
Absent: Barbara Murray
Business of the Audience: None
1. Approval of Agenda: Mr. Clontz made a motion to approve the Agenda. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion was passed unanimously.
2. Katherine Woodward was present. Requesting the city do something regarding all the stray cats. Melissa High will look into setting traps to catch the stray cats.
3. Amy Frey was present and gave a presentation. Requested the use of the Youth Building every Tuesday and Thursday. Mrs. Wallace suggested we charge b$15.00 a month. Mr. Clontz made a motion to approve the use of the Youth Building and the fee. Mr. Cortez seconded the motion.
4. Sheriff’s Report: No report given due to the sheriff not attending.
5. Fire Department Report: Fire Chief Vito Andreatta was present. Fire Dept. looking for volunteers.
6. Melissa High spoke regarding a software update
7. Handbook
8. Town Hall to be discussed in February.
9. Admin & Staff- Council Reports
a. GSRMA training for Sexual Harassment
b. Klamath Falls no longer accepting stray dogs
c. Brandon Criss will research where we would be able to take the dogs d. Request to close public restrooms and replace with two Portable Potties. Council suggested close restrooms at 4:30pm and check doors AM and PM.
e. Ms. Murray, Mrs. Wallace and Ms. High met with Sheriff LaRue for Coffee with a Cop f. Christmas Festival
Consent Agenda – Mr. Baldwin made a motion to combine A&B and approve. Mrs.Wallace seconded.
Motion was passed unanimously.
