DORRIS CITY COUNCIL MINUETS
REGULAR MEETING AT CITY HALL
MONDAY October 218, 2024 AT 6:00pm

Roll Call: Abner Weed, Donald Clontz, Rob Baldwin
Business of the Audience: None.
1. Approval of Agenda: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve the agenda and add resolution 24- 17 to temporarily close Third Street for the home coming parade, and removing item number 8 C. Mr. Clontz Seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
2. Siskiyou County Sheriff's Report: Officer Moore was present, he reported that our second cop who services our area had been injured on duty and will not be released from light duty for about a month.
3. Kayla McPherson would like to discuss waiving the fee for City hall rental to honor Veterans on 11/8/2024 with music presentation and thank you from the students: Ms. McPherson was present gave presentation on waiving the fee for City hall rental to honor Veterans on 11/8/2024 with music presentation and thank you from the students. Mr. Clontz made a motion to approve to wave the fee to rent city hall to honor Veterans on 11/8/2024 with music presentation and thank you from the students. Mr. Baldwin seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
4. 317 N Pine we like to set up a payment plan on her W/S/G. Resident of 317 N Pine was present and gave presentation on a payment plan on her W/S/G. Mr. Baldwin Made a motion to set up payment plan for the agreed upon date November 3"' 2024.Mr Clontz seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
5. 112 S Butte would like to discuss a discount on her bill since water was shut off due to sewer pump being repaired: 112 S Butte residents were not present. Discount was denied. No discussion or action.
6. Tax sharing agreements with the County of Siskiyou Annexing property and detaching property: Discussion no action.
7. Approve budget change for RB Aldrich and LWA Drought Grant: Mr. Weed made a motion to approve budget change for RB Aldrich and LWA Drought Grant. Mr. Clontz seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
8. Admin & Staff- Council Reports Financials
a. Road Repair: City Admin gave presentation on the third street repair. Our engineer recommended we let the repairs settle. Council request the road be looked at again. b. Heater Quote: City admin gave presentation on cost of the new heater. Council suggested looking for additional funding to cover the cost of the heater.
9. Future Agenda
Consent Agenda - Mr. Weed made a motion to combine items A&B and approve the consent agenda. Mr.
Baldwin seconded motion passed unanimously.
