REGULAR MEETING AT CITY HALL
MONDAY DECEMBER 16th, 2024 AT 6:00pm

1. Approval of Agenda: Mr. Clontz made a motion to approve the agenda with the amendments of the Fire Department Report as number 3 and check register being added to item 8 as E. Mr. Beck Seconded. Motion Passes Unanimously.

3. Fire Dept. Report: Fire Chief Warren Smith was present. Gave presentation on the new recruits, New Certifications working on being abstained and the needs of the Fire Department.
4. Letter to Address Elections from City attorney; Election codes per County Clerk: Council Read and addressed the publie of the election codes and when a special election is required. No action.
5. 116 N Main would like to be put on a payment plan: 116 N Main street was present, offered council a payment plan of $200.00 to cover the current month and have extra towards the back due balance. 116 N Main Street also request council wave late penalties. Mr. Clontz Made a motion to approve 116 N main street payment plan of $200.00 a month with penalties waved. Mr.
Barkman Seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
6. 121 N Oregon Street would like to address the remaining balance on her account: City Admin gave background information on 121 n Oregon street account to bring new council members up to date. 121 N Oregon Street was present and requested the remaining balance be waved completely. Council discussed. Mr. Beck made a motion to table the item until we have received word back from the city attorney. Mr. Barkman seconded motion passed unanimously.
7. Approve contract change order number two in the amount of $6,503.98: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve the contact change order number two in the amount of $6,503.98. Mr. Clontz Seconded motion passed unanimously.
8. Approve partial pay estimate number 7 for Water Distribution Improvement Project to RB Aldrich Construction in the amount of $111,747.53: Mr. Baldwin made a motion to approve the partial pay estimate number 7 for the Water Distribution Improvement Project to RB Aldrich Construction in the amount of $111,747.53. Mr. Barkman seconded motion passed unanimously.

a. Christmas Party: Council Discussed the Christmas/ New Year's party invitation and request the invites be sent.
