WHEREAS, the City of Dos Palos (hereinafter referred to as "City"), is a corporate entity established under the laws of the State of California and empowered to own property, borrow money and give security for loans; and
WHEREAS, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "RCAC") is authorized to make loans for environmental infrastructure; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to obtain a loan from RCAC for feasibility determination related to the new Water Treatment Plant Project (hereinafter referred to as "Project") on the property located at 1549 Oliver Street, Dos Palos, CA 93620, which will subsequently be reimbursed by the grant funding received from the California State Water Resources Control Board.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOS PALOS as follows:

Subject: City Project Status
The following will provide a brief report on the status of various projects and items being addressed by QK staff or working with City Staff to provide assistance for the last month.

Water Plant replacement project:

Contractor started at the site on March 18th and between that date and this week, the contractor has progressed with the setup of their Yard area, trailers, temporary power and other service connections.

The majority of the construction has been the earthwork portion to excavate the existing soils down to the subgrade for the buildings, treatment structures and roadways. The week of this meeting will be activities for the dewatering wells and equipment for the southeast corner of the site were the installation of the Backwater tank and pumping station will be placed.

There continues to be a review of submittals on the project and responses to RFl's and are getting toward the end of the submittals.

The current schedule has the project over a 24 month period, we will be working with the Contractor to shorten that timeline based on equipment delivery dates and also an operational date of the plant prior to full project completion.

Valeria Street Project - Caltrans approved the Right-of-way certification, which was the last item of their requests, so we have submitted the project for Construction Funding. We recently completed Resiliency Report for Cal trans as part of the funding process. Currently, waiting in the funding process.
