The activities proposed by the Chamber for this year's event include:

The Chamber shall be responsible for setup and takedown of booths, portable restrooms, and all other apparatus associated with the event. The Chamber of Commerce is also requesting the use of the City's showmobile for the Street Faire event, specifically for the car show portion of the event, which will take place at the Downey High School parking lot. The showmobile is available and can be delivered Friday, March 18. However, the stage tear down requires that it be disassembled Sunday, March 20, which will incur costs to the General Fund for overtime labor.
The City's Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is convening all involved parties to ensure an appropriate Event Action Plan is developed in case of an emergency the day of the event.

FISCAL IMPACT
The Chamber of Commerce is responsible for the cost of municipal services related to the street closure, which are projected at $2,900.00 ($1,800.00 for public works staff and equipment, and $1,100.00 for police services).
Showmobile - Labor costs for the delivery of the showmobile during regular business hours on Friday, March 18 and the disassembly on Sunday, March 20 are approximately $800 to be charged to account 10-4-3145. The standard equipment rental rate revenue is $434, bringing the fee waiver to $1,234.
