brokerage services. The City has received a proposal from Plan A Locations, which brokers locations for the City of Commerce. They propose to handle Downey locations as the exclusive leasing agency in return for 25 to 30 percent share of lease revenues.
Staff has questions to research before marking recommendations, but would appreciate City Council input. Alternatives would be to do a competitive selection process, to establish a non- exclusive case -by -case leasing commission to broker, or to handle such leasing through City offices. If an exclusive agreement were selected perhaps it should come with a guarantee annual revenue proon.
