In order to take advantage of economies of scale, staff determined that it would be economically beneficial to combine the aforementioned concrete improvement projects. This would ensure competitive bidding and a reduction of material costs because of increased quantities, which will ultimately result in significant savings to the City. The plans, specifications and construction cost estimates have been completed and the project is now ready for solicitation of construction bids.
Construction is anticipated to begin in November 2022 and be completed by January 2023.
