Subject: Request to fill a pothole
Hello Downey City Council,
I am Gabrielle Villa, a resident of Downey, District 2 for 20+ years. I am emailing in to ask you all to fix a pothole on Imperial Highway between Downey Ave and Brookshire Ave. This pot hole is located on the east bound side of Imperial located on the Left turn lane going into Dolan Ave. This is a particular nuisance for my neighbors and myself. Thank you for your consideration in advanced and I look forward to seeing this damage fixed.
If there is anything further that I need to do please let me know. Hope to hear from you soon.

Subject: public comment at BOS and Downey
Hello Supervisor Hahn and Downey Council (bcc others),
This week at the BOS meeting, I was silenced. 1 was not allowed to give my public comment, and neither were multiple others.
I wanted to say, if Supervisor Hahn thinks every agenda item should have the opportunity for public input, why doesn't she push for that in all the cities that her District covers? My voice has been silenced many times especially at Downey City Council, they cut public comment time when myself and others would speak on every item. Now it's down to 3 or even 2 minutes for all items? Why doesn't Hahn do something about the attacks on freedom of speech at Downey City Hall?
